Prayer Walkers
Get some exercise while going on a prayer walk with your family or friends. Pray for God to bless the people you see along the way and those who work, play, or live along the route. Note: signs aren't necessary. Just open eyes and heart to all God will reveal to you and through you on your way.

Thinking of You Campaign
Write thank notes, thinking of you greeting cards, or prepare care packages with snacks or other treats for our sick and shut ins and first responders.
Be an Angel Shopper
Next time you are going to do your own shopping at the store or pharmacy, check with neighbors or those who may not be able to go and offer to pick up groceries or prescriptions. Be an angel to those who may be uncomfortable leaving their homes during the stay-at-home recommendation.
Be A Generous Supporter!
Even if you don't feel comfortable leaving your home, you can still be involved in our efforts to make a difference through our ministries of outreach. We are grateful for all gifts and all givers!
Capture the Moment
As you engage in outreach activities, take pictures or video and tag us @ssumcchicago. Through your pictures, you may inspire others to get involved too!
Knitting for Jesus
Contribute to helping children stay warmer this winter with hand-made sweaters and other items made with love. Donations of funds or yarn are welcome. If you knit or crochet, join us and share your talent and time as we strive to dress more kids in God's love. Special thanks to our elder, Ms. Clara Houston for hand-knitting and donating these 20 beautiful sweaters!
